back with my 7th post.. i have been blogging almost everyday uh? lol.. but i can't be that consistent all the time, i know.. it's only the beginning.. i realised that blogging is actually a good way where i can simply vent and throw everything out from me.. today, i saw a very touching video.. gonna be a long post anyway, but it's worth the typing..it is about my idol, amei, who shares about her life story.. i don't know why i have read and seen so many stuffs these days concerning about cherishing our family members..perhaps it's hinting me that i should start cherishing my family more.. anyway.. her dad was sick and hospitalised.. and being a filial daughter, amei would always be by his side, taking care of him.. at that time, there was a very popular singing talent show (五灯奖) in taiwan.. whenever her dad watched the show, he would always tell her that she could do a much better job than the contestants, and insisting her to give it a try.. hence, amei took on the challenge, and went on to compete in the show - for the sake for her sickly father..though the competiton got tougher and tougher each round, she still stayed on the show and managed to get into the finals.. however, she got too nervous and resulted in forgetting part of the song lyrics.. to her dismay, she was disqualified in the end.. she was very depressed and dare not face her father... her father, however, still thought that she was the best.. amei, at that time, told herself that she would not sing anymore for her entire life.. it was until when her father's condition got worsened, she plucked up her courage and joined the competition again, so as not to let her father's dream be gone wasted..gave it her 2nd try in the competition, she once again fought it til the end, the finals.. immediately, she called home to tell her father about the good news.. her mom answered,"your dad had passed away....." immediately, she burst into tears.. she told the crew that she wanted to give up and return back home.. but, her mom stopped her, saying that her father was watching her up from above.. she fought it with all her might and became the champion of the competition.. when she returned back home, she placed the trophy right in front of her father's coffin.. it was a dream that she can never fulfill..here's the link to the videos:
i hope, at least, i will be able to make all the dreams of my ah ma and my parents come true before they go to the netherworld - witnessed me getting married, have a family and children.. CHERISH .. i do.. MY family, MY gf & MY friends =)
